Purchasing a telescope is a serious and sometimes expensive proposition. You can look at product reviews, you can contact telescope sellers. Unfortunately, reviews and telescope sellers are biased trying to get you to purchase their product. What if you could talk to a real astronomer who doesn't sell any telescopes or binoculars but only uses them and works with other astronomers professional and amateur who are working with consumer telescopes every night all around the world?

We will base our recommendations on:

• What kind of sky pollution you have.
• What your lifestyle habits are.
• What your background and training are.
• Where you are as a telescope owner — beginner, intermediate or advanced.
• What your interests are — visual, photographic or video astronomy.
